“Rooted in Hampton Roads since 2012, SIPP® began as a community empowerment movement — delivering awareness events, survivor celebrations, and resource connections to military, shipyard, and civilian families across the region.
In 2025, we took our commitment further by establishing SIPPCARES757™ as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, expanding from empowerment events into direct community service outreach, critical resource support, workforce readiness, and stabilization programs.
Each of our signature events draws 125–150 individuals, and in 2026 we are expanding to four events — projecting to serve 500–600 individuals this year alone. Same heart. Deeper reach. Greater impact”.
Mission:
SIPP® — Step Into Purpose for Progress® exists to walk beside the military, shipyard, and civilian families who make Hampton Roads strong — providing the outreach, resources, and stabilization support they need to overcome life's disruptions — what we call “ITs.” We believe that when one person rises above their “IT,” families grow stronger, and when families grow stronger, communities thrive.
“IT” DEFINED…
At SIPP®, “IT” represents the life disruptions that can interrupt stability, peace, and progress — illness, financial hardship, trauma, loss, housing instability, addiction, or unexpected crisis.
We believe no one should have to face their “IT” alone.
