Since 2012, SIPP® has engaged Hampton Roads civilian, military, and shipyard families through community awareness events, mentoring gatherings, and direct outreach.
After a pause during COVID, we returned with a deeper understanding of our community's needs — and a renewed commitment to stand in the gap for those who have nowhere else to turn.
In 2026, SIPPCARES757™ served 400+ Hampton Roads community members across our programs and expanded our reach with the launch of our first Step Into Hope™ community resource celebration. Through Step Into Hope™, we distributed 280+ pairs of shoes and 185+ backpacks, connected families with health screenings and community resources at no cost, and brought together businesses, nonprofits, resource providers, sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders in support of Hampton Roads families.

Supported a single mother and her two children in transitioning from living in their car to stable housing, while providing access to counseling and ongoing support
